Robert K. Wallace is Regents Professor of English at Northern Kentucky University, where he has taught since 1972.   A native of Puget Sound, he worked on tugboats in the summers while attending Everett High School, Whitman College, and Columbia University.  His books on Melville and the Arts include Melville and Turner (1992), Frank Stella’s Moby-Dick (2000), Douglass and Melville (2005), Heggie and Scheer’s Moby-Dick (2013), and Fast-Fish & Loose-Fish: Twenty Years of Moby-Dick Art by Students at NKU (2015). This is his third book-length blog.  The others are Sailing on the Whale Ship Charles W.
